Road safety in your community
If you are concerned about road safety, speeding or anti-social driving on a road where you live, or on a road that you use in Surrey, the following links describe some of the measures that could be implemented to tackle the problem, and how you can get in touch.
Depending on the extent and nature of the problem the county council may be able to make improvements to the local highway network, or Surrey police may be able to provide targeted enforcement or work with local residents to record speeding vehicles. Automatic safety camera enforcement is reserved for the very worst collision hotspots where speeding or red light jumping has been confirmed as a problem.
A map of all the police recorded personal injury collisions throughout Great Britain is now available via www.crashmap.co.uk
